Finding Your Ebb and Flow

During times of trauma, stress or uncertainty we can support our children and ourselves with a key parenting tool...

The most essential tool in parent is to create a consistent and predictable rhythm for your children. This allows for the experience and feeling of safety and security, no matter what is happening in the world.

Below is an example of a daily rhythm by Lifeways North America. The only pieces missing that we would suggest adding is a morning song/verse and the importance of singing throughout the day!

What's your daily ebb and flow, not just for your child but for yourself?

Share your thoughts and experiences below and feel free to connect with Dr Kaye on Facebook or through our contact us section to ask any questions about defining and supporting your ebb and flow.
